Industrial and Training Institute, Uttar Pradesh is the institute to train candidates ( students ) for industrial needs . Since 2008, there is no recruitment of instructors in any government ITI, UP . Hence candidates are very disappointed with government’s behavior against them .
A petition was filed by the unemployed Industrial Welfare Committee and others against this matter; And yesterday, In the hearing of this case, Justice PKS Baghel ordered to the state government that they have to answer on this within 3 weeks . And the petition is listed in the third week of January, 2013 .
According to the petitioner :-
- The government is not conducting any recruitment for instructors since 2008 .
- As per department service rules; There must be a recruitment year-wise .
- We have sent a application to the director but there is no proper response . The director of the recruitment board have already sent a proposal to the state government, even he is powered to recruit without any permission .
- No posts are being filled on permanent basis and on the other hand, they have appointed 250 contract base instructors in ITIs; this is completely against the guidelines of supreme court .
