Indian Army conducts open recruitment rallies ( bharti ) to select candidates for the posts of soldiers and various other posts up to a rank of junior officer . These recruitment rallies are conducted during all the time at various recruitment centers across the country . Now as you are going to be a part of Indian Army so it is must that you are physically fit and that is why the first stage of the selection process ( through these recruitment rallies ) is a physical test .
Physical Test consist of two Sub-Stages :-
- Physical Measurement Test ( PMT )
- Physical Fitness Test ( PFT )

This is the most tough part of the Indian Army open recruitment rally, Physical Fitness Test consist of four stages .

Balance & 9 fit ditch are of qualify nature and no marks will be awarded for a better performance .
However sometimes, In the first stage, they select only 5- 10 candidates who come first in the race in every batch . So prepare hard if you really want to join Indian Army .
