Exam Pattern & Syllabus for UPPCL Technician Elictrical Recruitment 2015
The selection process or recruitment scheme, adopted by UP government for this recruitment, is very transparent. According to prescribed guideline there will be two stages in the selection process .
- Written Exam – 200 marks
- Personal Interview – 25 marks
Written Exam
- There will be 200 objective type questions, carrying one mark each, in the question paper. Yes, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer given by the candidate. The duration

- The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- You have to get atleast 33% for qualifying this exam otherwise you will be rejected on the spot. However getting 33% marks in the written exam doesn’t guarantee that you will be called for the interview.
Out of 200 questions in the written exam, 150 questions will be from technical background, 20 questions from GK, 20 reasoning questions and rest 10 questions will be from general Hindi subject.
Interview
Qualified candidates in written exam, will be called for personal interview. Only 2-3 times qualified candidates of current vacancies, will be called for interview. At the time interview, the candidate have to produce all the original documents with attested photocopies . Total maximum marks in the interview are 25.
Final Selection Will be based upon performance of the candidate in written exam and personal interview .
