UPTET qualifying marks and relaxation details for reserved categories

UPTET ( Uttar Pradesh Teachers eligibility Test ); As it is clear by its name that it is a eligibility/qualifying nature test so obviously a eligibility certificate will be issued to the candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in the exam.

If the organizing authority of UPTET found it possible then candidates who are appearing in this eligibility test, will be issued marks statements .

Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks for a general category candidate is 60% . However there is a relaxation available up to 5% for some reserved categories .

Relaxation details for reserved categories

A maximum relaxation of 5% marks is available for reserved categories . It will not exceed 5% in any case as the Allahabad High Court have clearly said that it will not work like other states ( RTET  -15 % marks & UTET – 10% marks ) .

SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/Ex-Servicemen/PWD (Person with Disability) (PH) – Maximum 5% relaxation is available .

So we can say that for all the reserved categories given above, 55% marks are enough to qualify the test .
