On 26th in local assembly UP ( Uttar Pradesh ), M.L.A. Vijay Kumar Dube asked about the status of recruitment process for teachers in the state . He said that B.ed candidates with TET certificate, should be recruited without any delay now as its about one year to go and this is not good in anyway; for the students, B.Ed candidates or the society .

Replying to the above case; Mr. Ram Govind Chowdhary ( Basic Education Minister ) said on 29th November :-

• There are 350255 government teachers working in the state; Assistant teacher, head master and Siksha Mitra are included in this figure . And about 3 lakhs vacancies are there .
• TET pass candidate + BTC trained , 9970 candidates will be recruited in upcoming days; The recruitment process is already started .
• 72,825 vacancies will be filled up by B.Ed degree holders very soon .

 

Minister said that government is trying its best to overcome this shortage .
