Government will have to issue circular, UPTET is must – Allahabad High Court
Allahabad High Court found that the state government is not following UP teachers selection Niyamavali; High court have previously ordered that TET is must for working teachers in Prisadiay Schools & Junior High Schools; If the government thinks that it is mandatory to do a amendment in Niyamavali then they have to do it as soon as possible .
But still now, no action is taken by government; The Allahabad high court said,”It seems that the government is not serious about the RTE ( Children’s education ) “. The court asked the government :-
- Why the government is changing its stand on teachers selection process ?
- Why the government have not issued circular that UPTET is must for all the teachers working in junior high school & Prisadiay Schools ?
- Is there really a need of amendment in Niyamavali ?
- Why so much time is needed for amendment ?
The basic education chief secretary did not answer properly about the matter and it was not enough for satisfaction of the court .The petition was filed by Mr. Indrasan Singh
