Basic Education Department ( Uttar Pradesh ) is planning to allow the BPL family children, to sit in the TET exam ( UPTET ) for free i.e. No application fee will be demanded from candidates who belong to a BPL (Below the Poverty Line) family .
Yesterday, In a meeting of BSA officials; It was agreed by all topmost officers . But the final decision is still to come; Now it all depends on Minister of Basic Education, Mr. Ram Govind Chaudhary .
That’s a really good news for BPL families candidates as well as general candidates :-
For BPL Family Candidate
As it’s really very painful to pay a large amount as an application fee, for an unemployed person specially . And for a BPL candidate, it’s like impossible to pay such a big amount for a application form .Till now, the application fee for candidates who want to sit in UPTET exam is :-
- General/OBC Candidates – Rs. 400/-
- SC/ST candidates - Rs. 200/-
For a General Candidate
However the application fee will be eliminated for BPL candidates; But it’s a indication that the preparations for ‘UPTET 2013′ are on its end and the exam is going to be conducted very soon . According to a local news paper ( Amar Ujala ) , Basic Education Department wants to conduct the first TET exam before February, 2013 .
